EmberBox was born out of necessity. Noel spent 23 years in the U.S. Secret Service, on the road, under pressure, and personally responsible for protecting some of the most high-profile figures in the world. With hotel gyms proving useless (if even accessible) and time at home scarce, he reached for the one thing he could find almost anywhere: a cinder block.
Field workouts became the norm, with cinder blocks acting as every piece of equipment in one: presses, curls, carries, squats, sit-ups, and more, done in parking lots, backyards, and alleyways. No mirrors. No machines. Just accountability. This method carried Noel and his teammates through years of improvised training and eventually became a full-body fitness system.
But for trained military personnel and elite athletes, 40 pounds only goes so far. To build a heavier, more versatile version of the found cinder block, Noel teamed up with his D.C. neighbor Joe, a professional engineer. Together, they created the first EmberBox: made in the USA from solid steel, with welded handles, a smooth finish, and most importantly: adjustable weight.
We know it’s not just agents in the field who need the EmberBox. Those living in apartments, office positions, vanlifers, anyone without access to a full gym is in the same position Noel had been in for years. Individuals don’t need to be deployed overseas to train with discipline - they just needed the right tool. EmberBox was built for them too.
Now, for the first time, our patented and field-proven training tool is available to the public, paired with access to the same real-world workouts developed by members of the U.S. Secret Service.
